Our NGO’s trustees are Mr Harish Kumar and Mrs Kamlesh Madaan. Mr Harish Kumar founded the Dream Girl Foundation with the goal of providing children with access to quality healthcare and education. With his tremendous help, he has now begun to contribute money from his savings so that children from families with low incomes won’t fall behind due to a lack of resources. He is particularly worried about the emotional and financial needs of girl children’s health. In order for people to take action for the betterment of children, he has organised a number of campaigns to raise public awareness of the requirements of their own children.
Mrs Kamlesh, a teacher in a private school, has always had a soft spot for kids. When she initially started teaching at Dream Girl Foundation with Mr Harish Kumar, she was deeply affected by the situation of the young children. Being a woman herself, she knows the struggles of being a female in our country. So when she saw the condition of  girl child at the NGO, she decided to take action to help them. Dream Girl Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2003 and incorporated in 2013. Since then, we have been working nonstop to improve the conditions of disadvantaged children in our educational facilities. Dream Girl Foundation was founded in 2003 and is a well-known non-profit organisation focusing on providing underprivileged kids with a better future. We think that education is the backbone of development. Thus, we educate females to better their future and that of the nation. When a girl receives the knowledge she deserves, remarkable things happen. Her life and the lives of her kids both get better. She contributes to the local economy and makes a living. For her children as well as the girls and women in her neighbourhood, she sets an example of self-assurance and drive. Our organisation is dedicated to working for the overall improvement of children, including education, sanitation, health, income generation and other major issues.

Surya Vihar, Gurgaon, a destitute and unincorporated region of Haryana, is the house of many families who belong to the labour force. The families here lead a hard and labour-intensive life, labouring all day for only two square dinners per day. They have to put in a lot of effort to survive. This area is an unauthorised area, so there were no schools nearby where young children could be sent to study. Many parents felt that spending money on their offspring’s education was a loss of money and did not even do so. The only choices left to the kids were to remain at home or go against their wishes and labour. Another generation of illiterate people would have resulted from this.
We performed a poll to identify the children who did not attend school in order to break this cycle and assist the kids. After that, we chatted with their parents and persuaded them to enrol their kids in school. At our facilities, we gave the kids a basic education, and once they had finished, we enrolled them in an accredited school. Our endeavours enabled the kids to integrate into society and lead normal lives filled with possibilities.

The act of giving is the selfless, free assistance provided to those in need as a humanitarian act. Giving people unconditional love and compassion without asking for anything in return is charity. It is a deliberate act, yet the decision to do so is made from the heart. Giving without expecting anything in return is what charity is when it is done selflessly.

For us, skills and the willingness to give back to society are the only two thing that matter and if you can provide these, you are welcome to work in our NGO. However, depending on the volunteer opportunity, certain age restrictions or requirements may exist. It is best to check with our organisation for more information. 

 Yes, you may be eligible to volunteer depending on the specific requirements and responsibilities of the volunteer position. If you posses the skills, then you can apply for volunteering. However, some positions may have age restrictions or require certain skillsor experience. You should check with us to see if there are any specific requirements for the positions you are interested in

 Our organization offers certificates of appreciation or participation to our volunteers as a way to recognize their contributions and to provide documentation of their volunteer work. Volunteer certificate is provided only if you have provided service for the specific tenure of the post you are working on.

 Volunteers receive a certificate of appreciation or participation at the end of their tenure or upon completion of a specific project or task.  Our organisation provides a t-shirt and an ID card to on-field workers as a form of recognition and identification of their work. However, there is no welcome kit provided for online workers. If online workers/ remote workers do want an ID card, we can provide them with the same; but it’s only provided if they ask for it specifically

  Besides a certificate of appreciation, we provide volunteers with a letter of recommendation, which can be a valuable asset when applying for jobs or educational opportunities. It is provided to volunteers if they have done an exceptional job at our NGO. Volunteering can also provide valuable skills and experiences that can enhance your resume or personal development. Other benefits may include networking opportunities, training and development, and access to exclusive events or resources. So we encourage you to volunteer at our NGO.

  We don’t provide a job after completing a volunteer period. Still, volunteering can provide valuable skills, experiences, and networking opportunities that may enhance your chances of finding employment in the future. By volunteering, you may have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain experience in a particular field, and expand your professional network, which can all be valuable assets when job searching. Additionally, volunteering can demonstrate to potential employers your commitment to social causes and your willingness to contribute to the community, which employers may view positively.

  Dream Girl Foundation is a non-profit organisation. Therefore, it has limited funding and resources, so it might not be able to pay volunteers in the form of a stipend or another form of compensation. However, the organisation cherishes the work that its volunteers do.   Yes, you can donate clothes and toys suitable for a child under the age of three. We welcome all types of donations, including children’s clothing and toys, as long as they are clean, gently used, and in good condition. At our organization we have children from age-group 4 to 14 but we can provide clothes donated by you to the siblings of children at our organization.

 Yes, it is possible for you to personally distribute the items you donate to the beneficiaries yourself, provided that necessary safety protocols are followed for the benefit of kids at our organization. This way, children would get to enjoy with you and you can append time with the children as well.

 No, we do not sell any of the donations that we receive. We are a non-profit organisation, and our goal is to help individuals in need by giving away donated goods absolutely free of charge. All donations are utilised purely for philanthropic endeavours, and none of them are put up for sale.

 Yes, we give a donation certificate for every item donated to us. When you donate the things, please remember to provide us your name, email address, and phone number so we can send you the donation certificate.

   We apologise for any inconvenience, but we are unable to accept donations of older model desktop monitors. These types of monitors may not meet current safety and quality standards, and we strive to provide our children with the latest technology to help them develop their technical skills. Moreover, our computer requirements have already been fulfilled.

  Yes, depending on the type of donation, we use the items for a variety of uses. For instance, clothing is given to marginalised and poor groups, and our educational programmes for kids include stationery and books. Our computer training programmes utilise electronic devices like computers, laptops, and tablets to make the kids digitally savvy. Additionally, we provide families in need with necessary household items like utensils, blankets, and mattresses. Overall, the donated materials are extremely helpful to us in carrying out our programmes and improving the lives of the people we serve.

 Certainly, donating children’s and adult clothes together is acceptable. Our organization accepts all types of clothing donations that are in good condition and gently used. However, we recommend that you segregate them into separate boxes or bags and label them appropriately to facilitate our sorting and distribution process. We distribute adult clothes to parents of children in need.
