Ab ki baar, Daan karo yaar!

‘Daan Utsav’ also known as ‘Joy of Giving Week’ has finally arrived. Joy of Giving Week is a festival of Philanthropy starting from the birth date of Mahatma Gandhi, 2nd October. This week is based on the primary instinct of reverent Mahatma Gandhi, ‘Act of Giving’.

“The simplest acts of kindness are by far more powerful than a thousand heads bowing in prayer.”
– Mahatma Gandhi

This week also encourages you to not hold back from helping others in any way. Dream Girl Foundation wants people to participate in this noble event by helping in every form – money, volunteering, time, resources and skills. Our audience spans from the general public to corporates, from a 5-year-old to a 60-year-old, from schools to colleges, no one needs to hold back. Everyone can help in whatever way they can help best. After all,

“It’s not how much we give that matters but how much love we put into giving that matters.”
– Mother Teresa

Daan Utsav is also a great way for corporate to fulfill their CSR (corporate social responsibility). This week is thus massively supported by corporate. This week not only helps these corporate make a difference but also helps them fulfill their CSR mandated by the government. Dream Girl Foundation thus urges corporates to show an overwhelming response this year.

“We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.”
– Winston S. Churchill

Dream Girl Foundation has made helping easier than ever. All you need to make a difference is the thought of helping. Dream Girl Foundation takes care of the rest. People and corporate can make a difference by one or more of the following ways.

Volunteer/ Donation for Non-Formal Education centers:

We believe that investments in education yield the greatest interests. So, we urge you to work with us, after all, children must taught how to think not what to think.

Partnership/ Donation for Health Projects:Engage your Employees

Not all the people in our country can afford optimum healthcare facilities and we strongly believe that being responsible citizens of our country we can bridge this gap by donating what we can even if a penny. Daan Utsav urges you to join hands with us for sponsoring Children’s healthcare suffering from fatal heart diseases or blood cancer. You can even partner with us for a Child’s bone marrow transplant. At the end we all make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

Donation in Kind:

People/ Employees can also donate in kind by volunteering or helping us with what they are good in. Such as some people can teach and mentor, software engineers can help us with technical things etc. After all, world needs all the help it can get, we need all the help we can get.

“The most truly generous people are those who give silently without hope of praise or reward.”
– C. R. Brink

We hope that our message got to you and you decide to come forward to make a difference. After all, Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.

“Help others without any reason and give without the expectation of receiving anything in return.”
– Roy T. Benett
