The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund is a United Nations program provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children in developing countries. It is one of the members of the United Nations Development Group and its Executive Committee. UNICEF believes “All children have a right to survive, thrive and fulfill their potential – to the benefit of a better world” and “Educate all the girls and boys in South Asia”. Their goal is to make significant and sustained reduction in the number of out of school children around the world which is also one of the aims of our Dream Girl Foundation.
In our country, despite the fact that Right to education is the fundamental right which is granted by the Constitution of India all the children are not send to schools due to many reasons including poverty, child labour and child marriage.
Some families in the developing countries that can not afford to send their both children to school favour their sons over daughters, causing girls to stay at home. Also, in rural areas in our country people avoid sending their children to schools rather make them to work in their farms and family work or the parents get their children married at a very young age. Since marriage brings the burden of rearing a family, children are forced to drop out of school and get married at very young age.
We, Dream Girl Foundation work to build a world where every child attains the right to education, protection, development and healthy environment. We believe in giving education to one and all with the help of donations we have been able to help the children who aren’t getting education or health treatments due to any reason. Education enables a child to lay strong foothold in this world. It enables you to stand on your feet and earn a livelihood for yourself. We believe that we can surely make a difference by upbringing our child with a secure and promising future and it can only happen when we educate our child.
