How does the “Dream Girl Foundation” impact people’s lives and improve society?
At the heart of the Dream Girl Foundation, we passionately believe in the power of compassion and empathy to uplift the lives of underprivileged children, heal the suffering, and rekindle hope in those who feel lost. Our mission is to provide access to quality education for children, life-saving healthcare for those unable to afford it, and share the gift of joy with those in despair. We are grateful to our incredible network of individual supporters and corporate partners who generously embrace our vision, “We only have what we give,” and join us in our relentless pursuit to eradicate illiteracy and ill health, ultimately creating a brighter, more inclusive world for all.
Who has the power and obligation to guarantee that the mission and vision of “Dream Girl Foundation” are fulfilled?
Our NGO’s trustees are Mr Harish Kumar and Mrs Kamlesh Madaan. Mr Harish Kumar founded the Dream Girl Foundation with the goal of providing children with access to quality healthcare and education. With his tremendous help, he has now begun to contribute money from his savings so that children from families with low incomes won’t fall behind due to a lack of resources. He is particularly worried about the emotional and financial needs of girl children’s health. In order for people to take action for the betterment of children, he has organised a number of campaigns to raise public awareness of the requirements of their own children.
Mrs Kamlesh, a teacher in a private school, has always had a soft spot for kids. When she initially started teaching at Dream Girl Foundation with Mr Harish Kumar, she was deeply affected by the situation of the young children. Being a woman herself, she knows the struggles of being a female in our country. So when she saw the condition of girl child at the NGO, she decided to take action to help them. You may read more about them here: http://dreamgirlfoundation.ngo/our-founder-members

What is the mission and vision of the NGO?
Dream Girl Foundation was founded in 2003 and is a well-known non-profit organisation focusing on providing underprivileged kids with a better future. We think that education is the backbone of development. Thus, we educate females to better their future and that of the nation. When a girl receives the knowledge she deserves, remarkable things happen. Her life and the lives of her kids both get better. She contributes to the local economy and makes a living. For her children as well as the girls and women in her neighbourhood, she sets an example of self-assurance and drive. Our organisation is dedicated to working for the overall improvement of children, including education, sanitation, health, income generation and other major issues.
Can you provide some success stories or case studies of the NGO’s work?
Surya Vihar, Gurgaon, a destitute and unincorporated region of Haryana, is the house of many families who belong to the labour force. The families here lead a hard and labour-intensive life, labouring all day for only two square dinners per day. They have to put in a lot of effort to survive. This area is an unauthorised area, so there were no schools nearby where young children could be sent to study. Many parents felt that spending money on their offspring’s education was a loss of money and did not even do so. The only choices left to the kids were to remain at home or go against their wishes and labour. Another generation of illiterate people would have resulted from this.
We performed a poll to identify the children who did not attend school in order to break this cycle and assist the kids. After that, we chatted with their parents and persuaded them to enrol their kids in school. At our facilities, we gave the kids a basic education, and once they had finished, we enrolled them in an accredited school. Our endeavours enabled the kids to integrate into society and lead normal lives filled with possibilities.
Does the NGO accept in-kind donations, such as goods or services?
The act of giving is the selfless, free assistance provided to those in need as a humanitarian act. Giving people unconditional love and compassion without asking for anything in return is charity. It is a deliberate act, yet the decision to do so is made from the heart. Giving without expecting anything in return is what charity is when it is done selflessly.
We would be eternally grateful if you made a donation to our Organization so we could better the lives of the kids. Any donations are appreciated, and we always appreciate any presents you think our kids will like.
We welcome donations in kind, including furniture like chairs and tables, used clothing, used toys, and stationery. You may view our specifications here.

You may read more about them here: http://dreamgirlfoundation.ngo/our-founder-members.

Providing access to basic necessities such as food and clothing is essential to ensure that children are able to attend school and receive an education. This support can help to remove barriers that might otherwise prevent children from attending school and help to improve their overall well-being..
Where do all the children involved in your project stay?
Dream Girl Foundation primarily serves underprivileged communities by offering education and health support. While children attending our education centres are typically from nearby slums, participants in the health project can come from various locations. Our organisation aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and families in need, regardless of their location.
can you provide some success stories or case studies of the NGO’s work?
We are also currently undertaking a project called “Project Zindagi” for the welfare of children.
How do you ensure that the donation or funds for health projects are used efficiently ?
Our organisation does not directly give funds to parents. Instead, we make a demand draft to the hospital or medical facility where the parents’ child is receiving treatment, and the receipt of the same is given to the parents. The hospitals affiliated with us are AIIMS and Sir Gangaram Hospital, but we also provide funding to children getting treatment in other hospitals.
This approach ensures that the funds are used for the specific purpose for which they were intended, which in this case is to cover the child’s medical expenses. By making the payment directly to the hospital, we can be assured that the funds are used for the child’s medical needs and not diverted elsewhere.
Is it possible for you to arrange a meeting with the children?
While you are welcome to visit our project centres and meet the children, we are unable to bring them to you. It’s important to consider the safety and well-being of the children when organising visits or activities involving them.
We need to follow certain legal and ethical considerations while organising meet-ups like these. This may include obtaining consent from parents or legal guardians, ensuring that appropriate safety measures are in place, and adhering to relevant laws and regulations related to child protection and welfare.
Ultimately, the safety and well-being of the children are always our top priorities.
What are the specific timing to meet the children?
the specific timing for meeting the children in different projects are as follows:
Sector-9 Gurugram: 10 AM to 12 Noon
Sector-57 Gurugram: 2 PM to 5 PM
Noida Sector 63: 11 AM to 1 PM
It’s important to note that these timings may be subject to change depending on the schedules, and availability of staff or volunteers to supervise the visits. Therefore, it’s always best to confirm the timing in advance with us before planning a visit to ensure that you can meet the children and interact with them in a safe and appropriate manner.

Can you provide information on the total cost of one month of a child’s education, and a breakdown of the different expenses involved?
500 rupees are spent on a child’s education in one month. These funds are divided into three groups:
“Stationary”- refers to the price of the child’s necessary school supplies, such as textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other stationary goods.
“Refreshments”- refers to the price of feeding the child food and drink during school hours. To keep the youngster nourished and energised, this includes a mid-afternoon meal or snacks.
“School Uniforms”- This category covers the price of buying the child’s school uniform or other attire necessary for school attendance
Is NGO functional on Sundays as well?
No, unless any donor has any reservations about meeting children at our Center. Our Center remains closed
Do you take only the children from Delhi in the health project? Or the children of other states can also come and seek help?
Children from all states can seek help from our health project, and the project is not limited to serving only children from Delhi. We aim to reach a wider amount of children and help children from all over India, regardless of their state of origin
