Arbaj, a small child has proved that he loves his life immensely which has been gifted to him by God since he has been leading the battle from 6 years to just breathe. Arbaj who had been diagnosed with a hole in his heart in 2014, suffering from the deadly condition used to struggle everyday with a bright smile. Imagine just being 8 years old and discovering the fact that you suffer from one of the worst diseases. It will break your heart and Arbaj had suffered with it each and every day and even his parents. But he was brave enough to fight.
The only thing that we require today is EMPATHY.
Arbaj along with his parents had been running to and fro from Bihar and Delhi to end his struggle of 6 years to just breathe. Coming from a poor socio economic background it was very difficult for his parents to fund his treatment expenses of Rs 80,000 for Angiography. The doctors at AIIMS had asked them to deposit the amount in December but due to the helplessness it had become very difficult to raise the amount.
He had missed the operation date once and agony continued still.
Arbaj missed the operation date in December again due to the lack of funds and such a situation was dangerous it was aggravating his health. The doctors again gave a date in Mid-January and the fate of his life was to be decided by the amount gathered. Due to the grace of you all donors, we are extremely delighted to inform you that Arbaj has been successfully operated and has not missed his operation date anymore due to lack of funds. The generosity showered upon him is an example of kind deed. It’s not the amount that matters what you donated, but what matters is your intention to help him to stop his struggle. This has also put to the rest the mental pressure and agony that his parents suffered in the tough times. To empathise with someone’s pain, is one of the biggest qualities in the world.
Dream Girl Foundation always believes in the saying “where is a will, there is way”.We relentlessly worked hard to gather the amount as we understand the meaning of life. Although the journey was long for Arbaj but at the end of the tunnel the sunshine was awaiting him eagerly to bask in it and start a new life! With this, he will again start to his studies and lead a normal life post all treatment, which is a sheer happiness for him and us too.
