“TO AVERT A DEATH, WHAT IS NEEDED? ONLY A BREATH?”
Arbaj hails from Bihar and after all the diagnosis doctors said that he suffers from Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), in simple terms it means a hole in the heart, and oxygen-poor blood flow out of the heart and into the rest of the body and is a very rare disease and suggested to take him to Delhi urgently for further treatment. Arbaj has been constantly fighting to breathe smoothly like you and me. The doctors at AIIMS have given an approximate amount of Rs 80,000 for the treatment, Rs 60,000 for surgery and Rs 20,000 for Angiography but his parents being helpless due to their socio-economic conditions haven’t been able to gather the funds. His father is a poor laborer earning just meager to survive and mother being a housewife, you can imagine gathering such a huge amount is next to impossible for them. Even if they take a loan it put them into grave debt as they have look after the post treatment too. So, here the best option would be, we crowdfund the amount and help Arbaj breathe and have a new life. We humbly request you to help the needful as it would be the kindest to do.

Struggle Converts into Success
When all unite for a cause then undoubtedly achievement comes in. We are delighted to notify you that Nand Kishore Gupta, who was diagnosed with tumor in right kidney, and required chemo and radio therapy, has now been saved. He will now live a long and vigorous life because of the contribution by you and many other people alike. Nand Kishore got victimized of the same problem twice- firstly, when he suffered from high fever and constipation, and was taken to local doctor where he underwent an ultrasound test; it was not cured there. He was brought to Sir Gangaram hospital, Delhi where all the tests were done, and his right kidney was operated and removed as the tumor was growing rapidly. His father (Prem Shankar Prasad) who was a cab driver arranged Rs. 3 Lakhs himself thinking of his son’s quick recovery. Secondly, In February 2019, Nand Kishore faced this difficulty again severely. After consultation with Dr. Shyam Gupta, it came out that tumor had spread to the left Kidney, and he suggested as Nand Kishore was surviving on a single kidney the only option left was chemo and radio therapy which had to be performed at Sri Gangaram hospital. Nand Kishore’s father couldn’t afford the treatment of his son which he did previously for Rs. 3 Lakhs, and our organization Dream Girl Foundation was approached for the assistance. We started the campaign, and all the funds were successfully submitted at Sir Gangaram hospital, Delhi. With the help of this fund the main step of Radiotherapy is completed at BLK Hospital and now only very few chemotherapies are needed and in next 4 months treatment of Nand Kishore will be successfully completed. We are much thankful to all the donors who supported and contributed for this cause which came out to be victorious.
A Little Empathy changed Divyanshu’s Life
“Misery turns into devastation when the poverty becomes the reason for losing life.” Munendra Kumar and Lakshmi Devi are parents to the only son Divyanshu. When Divyanshu was born, it was a blessing for both parents. However with this blessing, also came an unknown circumstance. Divyanshu’s body used to turn blue in colour whenever he cried. Divyanshu’s father, a labour worker along with wife Lakshmi took Divyanshu to see a doctor. Doctors kept running tests for more than a month and found out that the child has a hole in his heart and that if soon he is not operated, it could endanger his life. After this they took him to AIIMS hospital where after running some tests, Dr Anita Saxena assured the parents that their son will soon recover. But all was not well. Divyanshu was not getting any better due to which he could not be operated and since then he was kept in hospital for 5 years for blood transmission. Finally after 2 months and 20 days he underwent surgery which costed the parents around Rs 50,000/- which they were able to pay by themselves and their relatives. For his second surgery for recovering his heart valves which were blocked would cost him Rs 65,000/-. It’s a very common happening that difficulties pour upon those who are already suffering a lot in their life. This situation was totally commensurate with that of Divyanshu. His family has already exhausted all their savings. . With utter sadness & a little hope in eyes, Divyanshu’s family approached us for the help. As it’s a saying that “Hope sustains Life” & thus their Hope turned out to be faithful towards Divyanshu. We at Dream Girl Foundation along with the extended support provided by the Donors helped to raise the required fund for his surgery & his operation proved to be successful in AIIMS Hospital. The deep rooted feeling of Empathy exhibited by our Donors played a major role in the upliftment of Divyanshu’s dismal spirit & now he is leading a normal happy life with his family.

Rutbah got a New Life
In today’s fast world where nobody has time for anyone, we must not forget our duty as humans and contribute our share to humanity. A person’s most useful asset is not a head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen and a hand willing to help. It is thanks to kind-hearted souls like you who come to the rescue of those in need and become their ray of hope. Rutbah Gastali, a young girl of 7 years was diagnosed with Gastric Cancer. She was undergoing treatment in the hands of Dr. AnupamSachdevaat Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi where she had to undergo several cycles of chemotherapy. The total cost of treatment remaining was Rs. 5 Lakh to Rs. 6 Lakh. Rutbah’s father, Mr. Fyaz Ahmad worked as a driver and earned a meager amount of Rupees 6000 a month which was not enough to bear the expenditure of the treatment. Her mother, Mrs. Parveena is a housewife. These parents brought their child all the way to Delhi from their hometown in Jammu & Kashmir and approached DGF to help cure their daughter. Dream Girl Foundation has played another successful role in raising donation for this young girl and has gifted her a second life. We on behalf of DGF would like to thank you for showing such a big heart towards Rutbah as she has had a successful bone marrow transplant surgery and is recovering well. By helping one person you cannot change the world, but you have definitely changed the world for that person.
