A hole in your pocket that wouldn’t hurt The only permanent thing about life is that it goes on. For some born with a silver spoon in their mouth, it is easy and subtle while it can be very challenging for a few who were born in families that cannot even afford two meals a day. Today we are talking about Aman Khan who was 1.5 years old and his father is a construction labor residing at Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Life was normal and bread was dear until they realized they had a yet new problem facing them.  After 6 months of Aman’s birth, his parents figured that he was having trouble breathing and therefore, the family rushed immediately to nearest local government hospital ‘Ram Manohar Lohiya’ for treatment. Doctors examined the condition of Aman and declared that he had a hole in his heart and referred them to AIIMS, New Delhi for treatment. On visiting AIIMS when the parents consulted the doctors and after various tests they confirmed the disease and told them the expense of treatment is Rs.55,000. Lack of funds with Aman’s family resulted in him being unable to get the treatment and continue with their  life. Then one day they found out that Aman is unable to move his one hand and leg. On visiting AIIMS again, the doctors told them that this was due to hole in Aman’s heart and that matters had got worse. He is paralysed and needs treatment for the hole in his heart and also, regular exercise to improve his condition. We at Dream Girl Foundation had taken up Aman’s cause and were trying to gather money so that he can undergo his operation. And with the wish of God we successfully raised the money and submitted to AIIMS for treatment. On 28th July,2015 Aman Khan is successfully operated at AIIMS and now recovering fast as per the doctors.  

This was the story of Tanvi, one of several other real-life ordeals which we come across every other day but choose to ignore, and often forget to help the NGO, even if they require a not-so-hefty sum of donations.However, over here we have a choice, a choice to save Tanvi’s life or to let her leave this world without even blooming. Tanvi was born with a certain abnormality due to which she used to cry a lot to a point where her skin would go blue. Her father Himanshu Kumar, a simple and humble man belonging to a lower middle class was concerned from the beginning as any father would be for his daughter. As it goes, Tanvi’s father took her to several doctors and did whatever was in his vicinity for his daughter. At last the problem was identified much to the relief of Mr. Himanshu. The results of most of the tests revealed that Tanvi had a hole in her heart. On further inspection another problemwas identified that near her heart there is a two nerve joint, and this further complicated her condition by giving her breathing problems and less oxygen absorption. The doctors referred Tanvi to Patna and eventually she was referred to AIIMS, New Delhi.Unfortunately the cure requires a sum of Rs.52, 000 for the operation which is impossible for her father to arrange, considering he works as a labor in day to day jobs and his maximum earning is not more than RS. 3000!!!! Dream Girl foundation wanted to help Tanvi to live a happy and healthy life, and this would not be possible without your support and help. She is just like our own daughter, sister and anyone of us can face this situation. Our Donors had  Join hands with us, saved a life and help our NGO in saving Tanvi’s life. Like every father does, Abhishek Gupta also thought her daughter will match up the height what he wants to achieve. He wants his child to live up his life. But soon his all dreams and wishes come to an end when huge outflow vanishes them and there is no one to hold up his dreams. Abhishek Gupta a rented auto driver who is from Dayalpur Karanal Nagar lives with a family of 4 members. He had a 10month old daughter, mother and his wife. With his below average financial condition, he is swallowing the sour cup daily in arranging the basic requirement. Things were gone even wears when regular crying and pale skin of his 10 month old child change into the sound of unbearable pain . Few month before when his child’s non stop crying and medical test reports yield what he has not even though is dreams. Those wards which he had heard for other was actually happening to him. According to reports her daughter was suffering from Atrial septal defect formally known as hole in heart. Earlier he had taken his daughter to Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital, in Delhi, where case further transfers to AIIMS. As our volunteer was there for existing running case, his father came across about our foundation & ask for help. On finding the case authentic Dream Girl Foundation accepted the case and agreed in helping to save his daughter’s life. Doctors of AIIMS had estimated a total amount of Rs. 60,000 of whole procedure n which two operations are required. Now the whole amount of first operation of baby Kashish is paid by Dream Girl Foundation with the support of Our Donors. On 27th March,2015, her operation was successful in AIIMS, New Delhi and the family thanks the Donors of Dream Girl Foundation for their priceless support.

“You only live once, but if you do it right once is enough.” We must have heard this quote in our ro utine life. But seriously, meaning of this quote really in existence for people like Desh Raj – A parent whose young 13 year old son is fighting for his survival. A boy of contractual labor from uttar pradesh whose suddenly come across this sevior disease by a abnormal headache. Doctors of AIIMS describe it as a malfunction of gland in brain. Awful situation of his father leads their family in painful dilemma. Having a six member family arranging there basic needs is a its self a breath taking taskfor a labor in today scenario. He has no other option to give up all hopes when he come across the total of 2.50 lakhs is requirement of AIIMS hospital for his case. Then desh raj come across one of the volunteer of DREAM GIRL FOUNDATION in AIIMS who was there for his earlier case of Madan Dream Girl Foundation considered this case as a another chance for making his name worth. A total of 2.50 lakhs is huge indeed but we know that there are people in this world who know that giving life to other is the actual ways of living life. With the hope of same ‘DREAM GIRL FOUNDATION’ have submitted the required amount of surgery to AIIMS to provide him a tool to rewrite his own destiny by giving him another chance to live.   UPDATE : Due to having no vacant Bed in the Nuero Department of AIIMS Hospital, On 28th June,2015 after many delayed Sangam had been successfully operated in AIIMS with EMBOLIZATION and doctor declare the operation successful and now Sangam is able to retain his memory and can walk & Talk normally as a normal Child. Over a period of time, human has understood every aspect of his surrounding i.e. how to live a comfortable life with all the effortlessness encircling his every task but a fraction of people have the fortune to experience the same & even there fraction contribute to increase the total number of that fortunate people. Dream Girl Foundation is an NGO who is trying to increase the number of more fortunate people with the help of those who actually can help others with their blessed fortune to do so. For of now parents of a less fortune boy was hoping that we the fortunate one can actually save his child Madan Kumar, a 7 month old child who was suffering from cardiac disease of hole in heart. Family of child belongs to Patna (Bihar), father Pintu Kumar is a contractual labor who can hardly earn Rs 4000/- in a month, as contractual labor doesn’t have every day work in a month. His father was roaming around the AIIMS, New Delhi for a cheaper treatment but cheapest treatment is itself a mountain to climb on for a labor. For his treatment he was on Delhi roads from last 2 month, when his case is lightened by a person who has heard about Dream Girl Foundation approaches our team with the child father, and our team came forward to save a little life. As prescribed by the AIIMS doctor a sum of Rs. 40,000/- excluding approx Rs. 10,000/- on Medicines was needed for treatment. Dream Girl Foundation has decided to take over the charge to add one more in the list of more fortunate people. And within 20 days we were able to submit the required amount to the AIIMS hospital with the help of Our Donors.
